Inclement Weather Schedule

Virtual Schedule for Cancellation of School Due to Weather

Inclement Weather Notification – If there is a two hour start time delay or school is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be notified via a robo-call, so it is important that your contact information is current with our school office. You may also check the district website:

Bus Snow Routes – If there is a two-hour late start, busses will run on snow routes. If your child rides a bus, you should have received information from the district Transportation Department about changed to their bus route. If you have questions, please call 206-252-0900.

Inclement Weather Schedule:

Our district is planning for remote instruction on days that school is cancelled due to weather.  Please see below for schedule information.  You will receive details from your student’s teacher along with a link to log in.

8:55 – School begins

Instruction from 8:55 to your child’s lunch recess time

Recess (20 minutes following student’s normal class schedule 11:10-11:30, 11:35-11:55, 12:00-12:20 or 12:25-12:45. Teacher will be in touch with your child’s schedule).

Lunch (20 minutes following your child’s lunch time)

Instruction from your child’s lunch time to dismissal

Dismissal at 3:25

  • Students will log off Teams for recess, lunch, and additional 15- minute break and potentially for silent reading time. If your child has reading intervention as part of their day, they will continue to work with their reading intervention teacher.

You will receive your child’s actual schedule from their teacher. Here is a sample schedule:

8:55-9:20 – Social Emotional Learning Time

9:20-10:05 – Math

10:05-10:20 – Recess/Break (off-line)

10:20-11:05 – Science/SS

11:05-12:00 – Writing Instruction

12:00-12:20 – Recess (off-line)

12:20-12:40 – Lunch (off-line)

12:40-1:25 – Reading Instruction

1:25-1:55 – Independent Reading (off-line)

1:55 – 2:25 – Art, Music, or PE

2:25-2:40 – Recess (off-line)

2:40-3:25 – Reading Instruction
