Experience Thurgood Marshall Night

October 22, 2026, 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Summary: Learning • Belonging • Community
Dear Thurgood Marshall Families,
What does it really feel like to be a learner at Thurgood Marshall?
This October, we invite you to come experience it for yourself!
Join us for Experience TM: Back-to-School Community Night, an evening designed for students and families to learn, explore, eat, connect, and experience our school together.
Instead of sitting through presentations, your student will become your guide.
Throughout the evening, families will be invited to move through Thurgood Marshall at their own pace and experience some of the learning our students engage in every day.
Visit classrooms and see student projects. Experience reading, writing, and math alongside your child. Get moving with PE. Explore our specialist programs. Meet the adults who support students throughout our building. And stop by the cafeteria to share food and conversation with our TM community.
Come when you can. Explore what interests you. Stay as long as you’re able.
There are no required rotations and no expectation that families visit every station. We want this evening to work for your family.
When you arrive, students will receive an Experience TM Learning Passport to help guide your family’s adventure through the school.
Most importantly, this is an opportunity for our students to say:
“Let me show you what I’ve been learning.”
Because our students—not a presentation—should be at the center of the story of learning at Thurgood Marshall.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
