Annual Fund Update
Thurgood Marshall Annual Fund 2011-2012
The TM PTA is excited about all the opportunities awaiting our children in the 2011-2012 school year. These are some of the activities you can look forward to:
- There will be the ever-excellent music program headed by Mr. Ken Pendergrass.
- There will be drama instructors from Seattle Children’s Theatre, bringing a month of in-classroom, hands-on theatre experience to every child.
- Our fantastic historian-in-residence, Ms. Mary Ann Christie, will bring the wonders of Ancient China, Egypt, and many more places, to life.
- Ms. Merilee Hudson, librarian extraordinaire, will be encouraging and guiding our young researchers and readers every day.
- Morgan, our playground supervisor – who just happens to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and about 13 other languages! – will continue to look after our kids all through the day, every day.
- Our nurse, Ms. Molly Chin, will be at school every day to look after your child’s medical needs and provide that extra-special TLC.
Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to continue to fund these important programs. Read more about how you can help.
