SUMMARY:Thurgood Marshall Night
DESCRIPTION:Experience Thurgood Marshall Night\n\nDear Thurgood Marshall Fa
milies\,\n\nWhat does it really feel like to be a learner at Thurgood Mars
hall?\n\nThis October\, we invite you to come experience it for yourself!\
n\nJoin us for Experience TM: Back-to-School Community Night\, an evening
designed for students and families to learn\, explore\, eat\, connect\, an
d experience our school together.\n\nInstead of sitting through presentati
ons\, your student will become your guide.\n\nThroughout the evening\, fam
ilies will be invited to move through Thurgood Marshall at their own pace
and experience some of the learning our students engage in every day.\n\nV
isit classrooms and see student projects. Experience reading\, writing\, a
nd math alongside your child. Get moving with PE. Explore our specialist p
rograms. Meet the adults who support students throughout our building. And
stop by the cafeteria to share food and conversation with our TM communit
y.\n\nCome when you can. Explore what interests you. Stay as long as you'r
e able.\n\nThere are no required rotations and no expectation that familie
s visit every station. We want this evening to work for your family.\n\nWh
en you arrive\, students will receive an Experience TM Learning Passport t
o help guide your family's adventure through the school.\n\nMost important
ly\, this is an opportunity for our students to say:\n\n“Let me show you
  what I've been learning.”\n\nBecause our students—not a presentation
—should be at the center of the story of learning at Thurgood Marshall.\
n\nWe can't wait to welcome you.
